"What I Can Do Is Offer Myself, Wholehearted And Present, To Walk With You Through The Fear And The Mess. That's All Any Of Us Can Do. That's What We Are Here For." - Shauna Niequist

I have always known that I wanted to help others. After graduating with a Psychology degree from Trinity University, I pursued my passion by obtaining both a Masters and a Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy. I completed my clinical training at Northwestern University’s Bette D. Harris Family and Child Clinic and Florida State University's Center for Couple and Family Therapy. Throughout my career, I have provided clinical services in a variety of settings which include in-home, in-school, in-office, and virtual through telehealth.

My therapy style can be described as professional, nonjudgmental, inviting and warm. Using evidenced-based interventions, I will work with you and your family members to overcome the obstacles you may be facing. I truly believe that everyone has the strength and ability to heal themselves, and that my job is to support and guide you on your journey towards growth and healing. In session you will find that I am caring, direct, and engaging. My focus is to empower you to obtain the skills you need to be successful and to reach your goals. I am dedicated to the clients I serve, so you will never have to question my genuine care for your well being and my passion for helping you reach your full potential.

In addition to providing therapy, I am Teaching Faculty at Florida State University in their Human Development and Family Science Department and enjoy teaching as a way to inspire and mentor future generations as they discover their own path working with families. I also provide consultation and trainings to mental health professionals, academics, and organizations.
