Family Counseling
I believe that healthy family relationships are critical in order to support your own personal growth. However, as a member of your own family, sometimes it is hard to create the changes you need. Within a neutral and safe environment, I will bring your whole family together to address issues such as:
-
Adjustment and Life Transitions
-
Attachment Issues
-
Communication
-
Parenting
-
Family Conflicts
-
Separation / Divorce

*Please note that although my degree is in Marriage and Family Therapy, I do NOT provide marital or couple counseling. However, I would be happy to provide a recommendation to a clinician that does provide this service.
Trauma Counseling
Traumatic events can have a tremendous effect on our mental health and can overwhelm our ability to cope with every day stressors. Through the use of evidence-based treatments such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), let me help you regain control over your life by addressing:
-
Abuse (emotional, neglect, physical, sexual, domestic violence)
-
Community Violence
-
Complex Trauma
-
Early Childhood Trauma
-
Racial Trauma
-
Serious Accidents or Illness
-
Traumatic Grief or Loss

Clinical Supervision
I am a AAMFT Approved Supervisor and am qualified to provide supervision for marriage and family therapy and mental health counseling interns in the state of Florida.
I offer both individual and group supervision. My supervision style is relaxed, supportive, and social-justice oriented. I focus highly on self-of-the-therapist work, and challenge my supervisees to consider the ways in which oppressive systems impact our mental and relational health.
